are authorised by H.M.Revenue & Customs to operate an 'A' Type
bonded warehouse. This allows us to store cargo, not attracting excise
duty, pending the accounting of the
applicable duties & VAT. Bonded Storage is of particular value to those who order in bulk with the intention of 'drip feeding' customers. It means that there is not the initial outlay of the total customs revenues prior to bringing the goods into store. There are many other reasons that consignments may be brought into bond, but cashflow is an immediate benefit. The fact that we are authorised to operate such a facility gives us great pride, as it not only means that our credentials are of a very high standard, but that our security systems and measures are immpecable. Please note that our authorisation is to operate an 'A' type warehouse and, as such, we are not able to store alcohol, tobacco or any other goods which attract excise duty, under bonded conditions. |
